This day is for all Parents:
- those who home educate already
- those who are considering Home Education or
- those who would just like to find out more about how to best educate their children.
A unique insight into the true nature of education, its meaning and purpose and the pressures and pitfalls parents can fall into.
Speakers from Ireland and England
1. Roy Peachey - Qualified Secondary School teacher, Author and Homeschooling teacher.
He will be speaking on his unique insight into the true nature of education, its meaning and purpose and the pressures and pitfalls parents can fall into.
2. Therese McCrystal - Home Schooling teacher and gifted speaker. Her talk "But I'm not qualified" promises to be a very interesting one.
3. Fr. Mark Byrne SOLT - (Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity)
Talk 1: “How children learn”.
Talk 2: “John Paul II’s Vision for Education”.
Where: Knock House Hotel, Knock, Co. Mayo.
When: 9:30am to 6pm with lunch and Holy Mass.
