Uphold Marriage

This ROSARY CAMPAIGN for marriage is an essential response for us in 2014 where it appears marriage will be under serious assault.

Marriage is good, is vital. For individuals, for life, for society. Generations of research has shown again and again that a society which does not uphold and support marriage is a society without solid foundations. And without those foundations, that society will fall.

Marriage is under serious assault. Ireland has enjoyed incredibly strong foundations over the years. As Bishop Fulton Sheen said; "Three to get marriage" ...one man, one woman, one God.

Our forefathers and mothers have spent themselves in witnessing to their Catholic Faith and especially their Catholic family life.

We must continue their great work. Our Holy Father Pope Francis has reminded us that we owe so much to those gone before us, and we need to pass on so much to those coming after us. We must witness to the importance of Marriage in our daily lives. By our words, our actions, our support, our prayers.

Marriage is VERY GOOD!

The family is experiencing a profound cultural crisis, ... marriage now tends to be viewd as a form of mere satisfaction that can be constructed in any way or modified at will. But the indispensible contribution of marriage to society transcends the feelings and momentary needs of the couple..."

Why the Rosary?

Sr. Lucia, one of the children of Fatima said:

"There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the holy Rosary. With the holy Rosary, we will save ourselves; we will sanctify ourselves; we will console our Lord, and obtain the salvation of many souls ...there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, that cannot be solved by the Rosary."

Pope Leo XIII said:

"The Rosary is the most excellent form of prayer and the most efficacious means of attaining eternal life. It is the remedy for all our evils, the root of all our blessings. There is no more excellent way of praying."

Pope Pius XI said:

"The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin...If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors."

Former occultist now Blessed Bartolo Longo said:

"Whoever recites the rosary will be saved."

The Rosary is THE weapon," Padre Pio said.

It is THE weapon in Ireland as we face into 2014 and all its challenges and trials.

It is the remedy for all evils and root of all our blessings. Please include in your daily rosary the protection of God’s plan for marriage, and circle the date on the calendar every day.

Even if you haven’t marked them every day, write on front an estimate of your numbers of rosaries and post to us.

We offer your intentions up every December in a special Mass in Knock Shrine presenting all returned rosary cards to Our Lady.
